Nekjeu runs on a Laravel backend (audio files, game logic) and Vue.js in the browser, with Socket.io to keep both players on the same round.
The hard part is audio sync: timestamps, latency, recovering from drift. Matchmaking pairs two players for back-to-back rounds.
Offer a fun duel between fans without pretending to replace Spotify.
